I picked this up after hearing about it via the 7 Inches blog.  If you aren’t following the 7 Inches blog. You should be.

Before I get to the song, I should mention that this is the second time in the past few days I’ve pretty shameless lifted my song of the day from Revolt of the Apes, so please do pay them a visit. You won’t regret it.

As for “Rot Inside”, it carries a bit of the dark and effortlessly cool vibes that Crystal Stilts have been cruising on since their inception, with a bit more of a cinematic, worldly feel to it. It will be on 8, out October 13th on Moon Glyph Records.

70’s guitar influenced psych for the metalhead in your family.

So there is this little thing going down between Sun Kil Moon and The War on Drugs.  And Sun Kil Moon dude wrote this song.  It’s kind of funny.  My songs of the day will return tomorrow.  Same bat time.  Same bat channel.
