The new Deerhunter album is the gift that keeps on giving. “Living My Life” is the third video the band has released off of Fading Frontier, joining “Snakeskin” and “Breaker”.
The Icarus Line never really did much to top 2004’s Penance Soiree (which was, like, abnormally great) but they did just put out a new LP, All Things Under Heaven. “Solar Plexus” carries a bit of a Stooges swagger, and now has been given this strange video accompaniment.
You don’t need to make it too far into “1992” to guess where Beliefs take their influences from, but that doesn’t mean they can’t write a pretty damned good song anyways.
It’s a bit surprising that in my goal of posting whatever I can from the Downtown Boys that I would miss this super awesome video for Slumlord Sal. First of all, I love this song and it’s not radio safe. So a perfect one for the blog. But second and forever this video is just great!
