Since we’re playing some stuff from Lost Map Records this week, how about some Rozi Plain? Hopefully you agree.
The new Creepoid album is one of my favorites of the year. It lurches and creaks forward, but never once gets boring, even when it slows to a crawl. “Dried Out” is about as close to a rocker as the band get on Cemetery Highrise Slum, but their gaze stays firmly planted on their shoes throughout.
I really like The Crabs. I’ve played them on the show, but I don’t think i’ve ever posted anything to the blog. This here is from a new mini-ep they posted on bandcamp. The ep is ok, but this song is really good. Classic Crabs.
At times, I am in awe of the pure quantity of great music out there. If only I didn’t have other things to do like laundry or eating. I would stare all day at records and listen to artists with double f last names.
Holy fuck I love this. Rad DIY trio from London.
“Instrumental 4” from an album titled Instrumentals 2015. There shouldn’t be much confusion about what to expect from the new Flying Saucer Attack LP.
La Luz has a new album coming out in August. It’s produced by Ty Segall which seems like a great match. Based on this single, I’d say so indeed. They are touring too. But alas, it appears Pittsburgh is not making the cut. I hate that.
Think Ecstatic Vision may have a bit of a Spacemen 3 influence?
