The plethora of special releases for record store day are starting to drip into the music news sites on a daily basis. There are many good looking releases including this one from Don Flemons. Oh, and who could resist this heart shaped 7″ from Father John Misty? But this track from Aquarian Blood popped into my feed today and i’ve got to say it’s great. Read more about it at Stereogum.

Record Store Day is April 18th in case I overlooked stating that simple fact.

Whooooo, boy, Pandora comes through big sometimes. Skeleton Coast put out their self-titled debut back in 2012, but I never heard them until just recently. “Untitled” closes out the LP, but the entire thing is worth your time and can be streamed at their Bandcamp site.

I don’t really seem to tire of these guys and their noisy recording methods. Neither should you. I’m glad I can help with such good advice on days like today.

Yesterday, I posted a song from Monoganon on Lost Map Records. I liked that song a lot, though the rest of their stuff is mixed for me.  The real reason I wound up listening to that track though was Tuff Love.  Tuff Love is another Lost Map Records artist and they are just great.  Listen up!

This song starts slow so hang in there. It’s worth the wait.
