A little late with today’s post, but I thought i’d go with a classic. As I was just listening to this at home. And i’m stoked by it! This is very exciting. For the last couple of months, due to health issues, listening to music stopped being fun most of the time. The fact that it’s fun again is very liberating. Very very liberating.

Sort of teetering back into this. I remember when Uncle Tupelo played the Khyber Pass in Philly. I was underaged and didn’t go. I’d snuck into the Khyber a couple of times, but it was far from the norm. Anyhow, reports back were that I would have liked it. I’m sort of easy to gauge in that way. Every once in a while, I hear a song so good that I get mad at myself for not discovering the band earlier. Case in point: this lovely droner by Italy’s Sonic Jesus.
Dear lord is the new Oh Sees album shaping up to be a burner of the utmost variety. Can’t come soon enough (May 18th, to be exact).
This one doesn’t sound too far off from yesterdays song of the day. If the name Shana Cleveland sounds familiar, it’s probably because you’ve heard her singing for Seattle indie surfers La Luz.
