Might as well retain the rain theme for the weekend. One of my all time favorite songs. And it’s a sufficiently goofy 80s style video.
Titus Andronicus’ The Monitor got a good amount of rotation when it came out a few years ago, but “The Battle of Hampton Roads” came up on shuffle today and goddamn if it didn’t strike a chord. Pour yourself a shot of bourbon on the rocks, relax, and take in the entirety of this epic song.

Man, I feel like this video came out about 6 months too late, but at least they got around to making one eventually, I suppose.
Swift begins “The Bully” with an emphatic “hey buddy…” and ends it two and a half minutes later with a like-minded “…jackass”, and never lets up in between. One of my favorite songs by the producer and touring member of both The Black Keys and The Shins.
I can’t tell you how many aimless strolls through random Balkan towns were soundtracked by Air France’s No Way Down EP a few years ago. This song was their masterpiece. RIP.
