It’s good spacey indie rock with a strong 80s/Joy Division influence. While maybe not breaking new ground, this Austin 3-piece has put together a good album that’s consistent and draws you in. So consistent that I initially missed the transition from “Both Eyes” into “Lied”. The pause wasn’t enough apparently. But it’s half way through Lied where this album get’s more interesting. “You’re Fake” is the best song but this one is pretty good as well.
For what it’s worth, I also found this which is pretty great. Off of a compilation.
