Today’s pick is a compilation tribute album to blues singer Papa Charlie Jackson featuring Cary Moskovitz, Jen Maurer, Adam Tanner, Dom Flemons, and Jerron “Blind Boy” Paxton. I love blues and this compilation does a neat thing where it has the original versions of every song followed by the covers. So you get to hear the original and the “modern” version. Normally I’d share the Bandcamp link but that only includes the covers so I’m using the Spotify link today. What do you think?

My wife and I are board gamers and we gamify nearly everything in life. This includes our music listening. We use a dice catapult to roll dice and then use the dice results to pick our vinyl listens. So why not do something similar for the blog?
