Whooooo, boy, Pandora comes through big sometimes. Skeleton Coast put out their self-titled debut back in 2012, but I never heard them until just recently. “Untitled” closes out the LP, but the entire thing is worth your time and can be streamed at their Bandcamp site.

I was just listening to Elsa’s I Do EP about a week ago and wondering if they were still kicking around, and *huzzah* a new song from the band magically appears. If I’m being completely honest, this one hasn’t clicked with me yet, but they built up enough goodwill with their previous work for me to give “Never Come Down” a few more listens.
Seriously, though, you’ve heard I Do, right? What a great debut. Just enough dream in their pop, these kids.
Well isn’t this convenient timing? Jim just played the original “Davey Crockett” on the show this Sunday, and then Hinds (fka Deers, who released two of my favorite singles last year) go and post up their stellar cover of the classic.
