Miles away from “Destroy the Law Machine”, but worth your time nonetheless, I think.

Woods has always been a bit hit-or-miss for me, but this live version of “With Light and Love” from last year’s Pickathon sure does hit hard, especially around the 4:30 mark.
Inventions features members of Explosions in the Sky and Eluvium, and sounds pretty much just like you’d expect it to, considering the contributors. As “Springworlds” demonstrates, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.
It’s pretty absurd that a song this ear-shatteringly loud can settle into such an effortless groove.
I wish I could tell you more about Kaitlyn, but the fact that this song exists is about all I know at this point. I’d say we’re off to a good start, at least.
On a completely unrelated note, the video below really made me nostalgic for the awesome High Atlas scenery of Morocco, and is well worth the five minutes it’ll take you to watch it. Maybe go crazy and listen to “Careen” at the same time? If you’re lucky, they’ll sync up. I’ll be on Kayak trying to find cheap airfare to Casablanca.
