Today’s Random Album of the Day is Casual Goths from Finally Punk. This is a compilation album of their material. Finally Punk is an “Art Punk” band from Austin, TX. I quite enjoy them. Their songs are short. Very short, typically coming in under one minute long.

I enjoy this album. Adequate noise and they seem to be having a lot of fun making this music too. The lyrics are silly as much as anything usually. “Jazz Hit” is about making a sandwich mostly. That’ pretty typical. And in fact people who know me know that I quite enjoy it this kind of thing…

They have such a fun aggressive angular sound. It’s really quite enjoyable to me.

Favorite Track(s): “Henry” is good. “5 Year Old Angst” is silly fun. “Missile” is great with a great closing scream. “Johnny Depp Vs Gator” is great. I appreciate the ode to “Manatee”. I love “Redneck Gout Club” and lol at the title. etc…
