Patrick Flegel made a name for himself when he was in Women, and while some of his former bandmates have followed Public Strain‘s natural trajectory as Viet Cong, Flegel seems to be taking a more fragile path as Cindy Lee (though you could say quite the opposite about Androgynous Mind, his other project). “Power and Possession” is an absolute gut punch.
