It’s been dangerously close to a few months since Ty’s put something out. Not for long, though. Mr. Face arrives on 1/13.
My only real complaint about this one is that it ends far too quickly.

Came dangerously close to having this on the radio show playlist tonight, which probably wouldn’t have went over well with the program director. Check your lyric sheets, kids! Still, it’s too good not to post at all, even if it’s just to the blog.

Now that the Pittsburgh weather has returned to it’s typical seasonal grey that pervades November through March, I feel pretty comfortable posting this one by Have a Nice Life.
Every year, without fail, I’ll put out a list of my favorite music and then immediately hear one or two more releases that would’ve made it had I heard them just a week or two earlier. Exhibit A: Ontario Gothic by Foxes in Fiction, which somehow flew under my radar until a few days ago.
I’m writing this up on New Year’s Eve Eve, which (I think) means I can start ramping up into party mode. This is a good start. Off of a collection of remixes Blue Hawaii threw up on Soundcloud a few weeks ago.
We’ve established that the good old holiday spirit can be packed up for another year, right? Just in case there was any doubt…
