Today’s Random Album of the Day is Institute from Kotokoto. Kotokto appears to be a project of Toko Yasuda who briefly played bass for Blonde Redhead. This is listed as Ambient music which is not my favorite genre so we’ll see how I like it.

The challenge with ambient is it all blurs together for me. This was no different. I couldn’t tell you what any of the songs sounded like – distinctly from any other songs. The only thing that stood out to me was I sort of liked the intro. And I overall thought it was a solid album.

Rating: 6.0

Favorite Track(s): “Perth Wait Cafe” got dancy which was nice but it was too short.

Keep or Trash: Trash. Not my thing…
