Random Album of the Day – Monday, June 1, 2026

Happy Pride! Today’s Random Album of the Day happens to be from a queer artist. Today’s album is Do Not Disturb from Young Miko. Young Miko is a pop rap artist from Puerto Rico.

This album is really good. I don’t know much about this style of music, but it grooves, flows, and makes you want to dance. They probably overuse the vocal effects but that’s normal these days. All in all, it is a very enjoyable album and it fit my mood well today.

Rating: 9.0. This may not be my normal wheelhouse but it’s very good at what it does.

Favorite Track(s): Ni Le Cabe

Keep or Trash: Keep. Even if I didn’t like it my wife loves it so it’s a definite keeper.

Here in is just some music I found that I liked or was interesting while I have been sitting out my quarantine. This will meander a bit. I have a lot of listening to catch up on but these are items of interest to me – and maybe to you.

LeftyFish

I’m pleased to report that LeftyFish has had a couple of releases since I last wrote about them. Soooooo goooood. Gotta like noise though.

The Ice Age

Let’s start with the interesting. This is a long lost record from Indianapolis’ psych/hard rock band Ice (aka Zukus). Not bad. More interesting than good perhaps. Certainly good enough to have released i’d think

Beybonlar

This is interesting. This is some Turkish Psych from 1969. Pretty nice.
