Today’s Random Album of the Day is Trilogi Peradaban from Zoo. Zoo is experimental music from Indonesia.

It is a lot of chaos. It is really quite good. It does have some rhythmic underpinning but it could use more melodies and it’d be elite stuff. As it is, it is good. But it’s not a good casual listen. You have to be in the mood for this aggressive experimental noise.

If you like experimental noise I would definitely give this a listen. Maybe not first thing in the morning like i’m doing today. I think this benefits from being awake. And I imagine these folks are amazing live. And younger me would have loved this more than current me I think. But for weird reasons.

This would go great in a mix. Pick a good song and mix it with some more melodic material to balance it out. Phenomenal.

Keep or Trash: Keep. This is chaos. But it’s good chaos. I won’t buy more because I think this album satisfactorily scratches the itch.
